Bookkeeping and month-end close

Fill your open finance job.Your new hire comes with AI.

We put forward named candidates for the job you posted. Whoever you pick comes with AI agents that do the routine work, so you get a full seat's output for less. A $70,000 job costs about $94,000 a year once you add tax, benefits and recruiting. As the agents take on more of the work, the hours you pay a person for go down.

Month to month. Your books stay in your own software the whole time, and every placement is guaranteed for six months.

How it works

A person, with AI behind them. Sized from your own posting.

A named person joins your team. AI agents do the routine work behind them from day one, and the person checks the agents' work and owns the results. To size the seat, we read your posting and sort every duty on it by four rules.

  1. 1

What an agent can do, the agent does.

The routine work gets done at software cost, not at a wage, and it gets done the same day.

  2. 2

What needs a person, a person does.

Your person spends their hours on the parts that need a person, so you can afford a better one.

  3. 3

If that leaves fewer hours, the seat is part time.

Freed hours are yours. Point the person at work that was not getting done, or, if there is nothing to move them to, pay for fewer hours.

  4. 4

If nothing needs the building, the seat is remote.

You hire from everywhere, not from your commute radius, so the seat fills faster and costs less.

We do that sort on your posting and put forward named candidates for the seat, backed by our system and the team that builds and runs the agents. Every month you see who did what. If the person does not work out, we replace them. If they leave, the agents stay and the work keeps running.

We read 150 bookkeeper postings. 84 asked for on-site. 10 listed a task that needs someone in the building.

What you get in the first month

The work done, a named person who owns it, and a seat that gets smaller instead of bigger.

The books, closed on time

Transactions categorized, every bank and card account reconciled, month-end closed and financial statements in your hands by the 10th. The same list your posting asked for, done by people who do only this.

A named person who owns it

You pick the person from named candidates, with real resumes. They check every piece of the agents' work and own the results: accurate books, and the month closed on time.

Software agents on the routine work

The repeatable parts run on software from day one, so the hours go to the work that needs a person. As the agents take more, the seat shrinks and your bill follows it.

Two ways to fill the seat. Same person, same agents.

What changes is who employs the person.

Hire the person onto your own payroll, and we place them and train them on the agents. Or take a dedicated person who works only for you, in your tools, employed by us. Either way the agents do the routine work behind them.

Dedicated person

A named person, dedicated to you.

They work only for you, in your tools and with your team, alongside our agents. You direct the work. We employ them, so payroll, benefits and cover are ours. As the agents take hours off the job, we buy those hours back and your bill goes down.

Priced on a call.

Hire

You hire the person. We place and train them.

They go on your payroll and you direct them like any employee. They arrive trained on our agents, which do part of the job from week one. If the agents stop adding value, we leave and you keep the person.

Priced on a call.

What if it goes wrong

Nothing here is hard to walk back

Hiring is the opposite: a wrong hire costs you a quarter and a severance conversation. Every route below is reversible on purpose, because that is the only honest way to ask a stranger to trust you with the books.

First month

What if the person is wrong for us?

Try them with the agents for a month. If it does not feel right, we buy back every hour they and the agents worked, and your other applicants are still there. After that, a placement is guaranteed for six months: a replacement, or the fee back as credit.

Month to month

What if we want out?

The agents fee is month to month. Your books live in your own software the whole time, so leaving is a handover, not a rescue. There is no data to extract from us.

You keep the person

What if the software is not worth it?

Then we leave and you keep the person. The hire is yours, on your payroll, directed by you. Nobody else in staffing can say that, because the person leaving is how they get paid.

Hand them back

What if the job shrinks?

It should. As the agents take more of the routine work, you need fewer hours. Hand the person back inside twelve months and the whole placement fee comes back as credit against the agents fee.

The first 30 days

We start within the month. We never promise a start inside a week, because a careful handover takes longer than that, and the firms that promise one are guessing.

Week 1

Access and procedures

We learn how your books run today

You create a user in your own QuickBooks or Xero and switch it off whenever you like. We read the last few months of closes, write down how your books actually run (not how they are supposed to), and list the tasks from your own job posting one by one. You get that list back with a mark against each one: done by software from day one, done by the person, or not ours.

  • · A user you create, in your software
  • · Your own posting, task by task
  • · Nothing changes in your books this week

Week 2

Guided work

Real transactions, your current process as the check

We start doing the work against your existing process, so anything we get wrong shows up immediately rather than at month-end. The software agents go on the routine tasks first, because those are the ones with a right answer. Your current bookkeeper or office manager stays in place this week; nobody is handing over anything they cannot take back.

  • · Both processes run, side by side
  • · Agents take the routine tasks first
  • · Mistakes surface in days, not at close

Week 3 onward

Full production

The first close on the new rhythm

The agents and your person run the close, your person checks it before you see it, and financials land by the 10th. From there it is the same rhythm every month, with one named person you talk to. As the agents pick up more of the routine work, the hours a person spends drop, and the bill drops with them.

  • · Checked before it reaches you
  • · Financials by the 10th, every month
  • · One named person, not a ticket queue

Already filled the role?

Keep the person you hired and put them on our system. No placement fee, the same software agents on the routine work, and the person you already chose. It is the cheapest way to work with us, because the question of who the person is has already been answered.

Tell us who you hired

Or keep your whole team as it is. We put the same agents to work inside your own QuickBooks or Xero, and train your people to use them. The routine work runs on software, and the people you hired spend their hours on the work that needs a person.

Your data

How your books are handled

You are handing strangers access to your finances. That deserves specifics rather than a promise, so here is exactly what happens.

A second code, every person, every time

Everyone who touches your books signs in with a code on top of a password. No shared logins, no exceptions, including the people who check the work.

A user you control

We work inside your own QuickBooks or Xero, through a user you create and can switch off in one click. We never ask for your password, and we never move your books somewhere you cannot reach them.

Encrypted moving and sitting still

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. It is never used to train anything, never combined with another client's, and never stored on a personal laptop.

Written before anything starts

A confidentiality agreement is signed before any access is given. Work done outside the United States is disclosed in plain words, and tax work never leaves the country without your separate written consent.

Some of the people who do and check this work are outside the United States. Every one of them signs in with a second code on top of a password, works only inside your own software, and your data is encrypted when it moves and when it is stored. You approve that in writing before any work starts, and tax work never leaves the country without your separate written consent.

Proof

What we can honestly show you today

We are new under this name, so there are no testimonials on this page and there will not be any until real clients write them. Here is what you can check instead.

  • The candidates themselves: real names and real resumes, with careers you can look up, before you decide anything.
  • A free first conversation about your actual posting, task by task, with a straight answer on which tasks software does on day one.
  • Your own books, in your own software, the whole time. You can look at them whenever you like, and you keep them if we part ways.

Frequently asked

What software do you work in?
Yours. QuickBooks or Xero, set up the way it is today. We do not require a switch, and changing systems is never a condition of working with us. If you ever decide to move, we move the data and check it against the old books line by line, but that is your decision and a separate conversation.
Who employs the person?
It depends which of the two ways you pick. Dedicated person: we employ them and they work only for you, so payroll, benefits and cover are ours. Hire: you hire them, you pay them, you direct them like any employee, and we place them, supply the agents they work with and train them on it.
What happens if we do not like the work?
Try the person and the agents for the first month. If it does not feel right, we buy back every hour they and the agents worked. After that, a Dedicated person is month to month, and because your books never left your own software, leaving is a handover rather than a rescue. Under Hire, the placement is guaranteed for six months: a replacement from the bench, or the fee back as credit against the agents fee. Your choice.
Our posting says on-site. Does that rule you out?
Usually not. Bank feeds, bills, invoices and month-end all run remotely once someone has access to your software. Where part of the role genuinely is physical, opening mail, deposits, the front desk, a local part-time person covers those hours and you pay accountant rates only for accountant work. If you need one full-time person in the building all day, we are not the right fit, and we will tell you that on the first call instead of selling you something else.
How fast can you start?
Within the month. Week 1 is access and procedures, week 2 is guided work against your current process, week 3 onward is full production. We never promise a start inside a week. A real handover takes longer than that, and anyone promising otherwise has not thought about what happens at your first close.
What do the software agents actually do?
The repeatable parts of the job: categorizing transactions, matching bank and card lines, chasing the documents a close is waiting on, flagging the exceptions a person needs to look at. They do the work rather than suggest it, and a person checks the result. What they never do is make the judgment calls, which is exactly why there is still a person on the seat either way.
Why is this cheaper than hiring?
Two reasons, and neither is that the people are cheap. First, the routine work runs on software, so the hours you buy go to the work that actually needs a person. As the software takes more, you buy fewer hours. Second, with a dedicated person you are not paying for a whole seat when you need part of one: no payroll tax, no benefits, no recruiting fee on your side.
Who is doing the work, and where are they?
Some of the people who do and check this work are outside the United States. Every one of them signs in with a second code on top of a password, works only inside your own software, and your data is encrypted when it moves and when it is stored. You approve that in writing before any work starts, and tax work never leaves the country without your separate written consent.
